As much as I hate to admit it the VE SS is a tougher looking car than the blue XR8 shown in the pictures.

The wheels don't suit the Falcon, yet the same rims look awesome on the XR5T.

Overall though I think the FG has a far superior interior to the VE's.

What the ... u think the VESS looks tougher ... u badly need glasses dude! :buttrock:

Look I rekon they look great, nice upgrade, but unless they have fixed certain aspects, IE driveline shunt and all the other nasties we put up with, then I will consider it a complete failure and this car the one I have will be the last locally produced car I buy. That comment in itself makes it a very sad day indeed.

On another and completely different note, WTF is with the launch dancing girls BMX riders (No Helmets), surely this is Australi and it could have been done at a Local motorway, with the vehicles supplying the glitz and glamour, not some local theatre troop.

im interested in seeing the intake manifold on the turbo model.

Its long and thin, like a post pack tube, about 3-4 inches in diameter with the throttlebody pointing straight up. Looks a bit like an aftermarket plenum. Being smaller makes it a few kg lighter than the old upper and lower manifold from the BF too.

The sedan has a bigger fuel tank so that should make some people happy.

From what I hear the increase is a massive 1 litre. :buttrock:

  • Still have a turbo, it's just on a diesel.
