Do you think the press car was beefed up a bit or is it the same as all xrt's give or take a little?

I ask because the times it pulled in the last wheels magazine were insane! If ford got consistant results like the tested xr6t us ford nuts would be stoked.

Cheers Alf.

Seems the new falcon is selling pretty well already. Just went down to my local dealer to see if I could get a test drive of the new XR8 they have there, but the service boys were out and about with it taking it for a thrash. Anyway asked when they'd have some turbo models available for test drive and they said that the turbo's that they've ordered have just about all already been sold and they haven't even got to the dealer yet. Might be waiting a while before I get to test drive one.

Although I am probably the most enthusiastic member in regards to selling these things (well duh) Most dealers were only allowed to order one or two for their first allocation!

hey Pat,

Whats the Ratio between the sales of XR8's and XR6 Turbos in your previous expericances with BA/BF'S? I would imagine there is alot more Turbos sold, although I see just as many XR8's driving around.

My bet is 50% N/A, 25% XR8 & 25% Turbos.

I do not see this changing as the XR8's will now have the GT motors, that should keep them selling.
