Rosie Member 361 Member For: 17y 8m 23d Posted 21/06/11 03:30 AM Share Posted 21/06/11 03:30 AM Sometimes you just can't get around the fact that you are still trying to chuck a 2 tonne Daily drive around like a stripped out Race Car!- Like it or not, there are limits!- Weight, weight, weight....Nelsonian, I found a terminal speed of 250kmh, at the braking point for Turn 1 at Philip Island, to be the 'absolute' limit for slowing my Car down and still making the Corner!- 240-245 was a lot less stressful!- And I do brake as late as possible.Not sure about the end result of your 230 limit, but you come on to the staright at about 190-200kmh off the left Hander.- Which means you are already carrying a lot of speed 'onto' the Straight!Got a chance to Film it this time!- We are back at the Philip Island 6 Hour August, 6th and 7th, in a few Weeks!
