shermanpk Member 11 Member For: 16y 9m 19d Posted 24/02/08 10:54 PM Share Posted 24/02/08 10:54 PM hey just offering some free advice... everyone has free advice but I was looking at putting a seperate GPU in my carputer but they use way too much power, like a nvidia (my prefernce) 8600 series cards use in excess of 100W so unless you want to source a 500W DC-DC powersuply from the US or UK dont do it... even the mobile ones are expencive (in power)... your better off just getting at Motherboard with onboard graphics...the one I'm looking at very strongly is ASUS P5E-VM HDMI LGA 775 its DX 10 (from memory) but I do know it's this one or the nvida ones that are the best (depends on how loile you are to nvidia) the AMD onboards arnt as good as the intel and nvidia...I'd also putin an after market sound card... but other than that its super good and sutes what im doing any way...in closing Onboard graphic good; GPU bad...
