Just reading the new Motor Magazine one comment was:

"Right now, Ford is evaluating a higher-powered XR6T, and although Ford refuses to comment on the project, the hotter XR6T could be distributed and sold through Ford Performance Vehicles"

Im curious as to what others know?

Chris .. don't reckon it will have the XR in the name  FPV6T maybe

XRs are for the wee folk like us

270kw 18" chunly exhaust note and possibly a six speed auto ... keep the 4 speed for us mere mortals ...

seems like early 2004 is the release date for the Series II and the FPV6T... so the rumours go ... :ermm::thumbsup:

I don't know anymore than what has been trickling through the media & this forum. Would be very interesting to know what sort of a $$ tag it would carry. Mmmm.... FPV6T.

I doubt it, might have different skirts, spoiler, etc but I don't see the need for a bonnet buldge.

Might have vents in the bonnet though...

that's it!!! I NEED TO WIN LOTTO, or sell the house. I can quite comfortably live in the cabin of the FPV Turbo...lol.

Anyone offering a 100k job? I'll take it. I don't care what it is...lol.

Who knows, 5 years from now, I might be lucky to stumble across someone getting rid of their FPV toy for a newer, revised FPV toy. Better still, if it was purchased simply as a tax dodge, I might get lucky.

One can dream can't they?

I see the need for a bonnet bulge, it looks outright tough.

If I wasnt quoted $2000 unpainted from the dealer I would have one on my 'T'

It might look tough, but unless there is a need for the extra space I don't see FPV putting one on. It will look too much like a GT which wouldn't be a good thing considering the possible anger comming from GT owners.
