just a quick one boys...

I am installing a boost and oil pressure guage. I got the sandwich panel for the oil pressure so that should be sweet, but I am wondering where the best place to tap into the vacum line is? its a mechanical boost guage so just need to put the T piece in the line somewhere...

thanks boys

Yea just after the BOV is :hiall:

Let us know how you go with the oil press/temp

I've done my boost gauge, still gotta get the time to do the oil pressure gauges though.

Which sandwich plate did you get?

I got a speco one from autobarn in dandenong. cost 50 bucks, had a little trouble with it grounding so I had to scrape a bit of the thin coating that was on it.... was fine after that!

My t peice is about 3/4cm from the top of the bov too.

hi boys,

I know its ben a while, but I had a few issues to deal with unfortunatly whick kept me away from my T.

I fitted the guages without any major problems, the speco sandwich plate worked really well (a bit fidelly to fit), I cut the vaccum line into the bov, and that worked fine also.

one thing though, I mounted the guages in the centre of the dash using an ss pod, but the vaccum line is a very tight fit behind there, I am guessing its gonna crack very soon. have any of you rigged something up to solve this problem.

thanks
