Friends or not, that is a big difference for the same rostered work!

I own my car etc so shouldnt be too bad.

blackwrx Member 181 Member For: 19y 9m 5d Posted 15/02/08 02:09 AM Author Share Posted 15/02/08 02:09 AM (edited) I should still have enough, just wont be saving as much, selling one house would help me out and when my second house is built I could get rid of that and just keep the one that I would be living in.Still think I would be earning above the average wage, I would also try to negotiate an extra $5 -$10000 out of the company, that would mean dropping just $30000. I can get by on 100K OK.I would never accept the first offer.I think it is also cheaper to live down in Perth as well.I am more worried about my bosses reaction. Are you happy at the moment? What are you persuing, job satisfaction or a big salary? Both will have its pros and cons, but $40,000 is a massssssive pay cut. Do you want to be closer to friends and family and not have to seek the company of prostitutes? haha joke. There are alot of other factors you need to consider. Perhaps if you tell us how you feel about it maybe we can guide you in the right direction.

I will have more info on that when I go to check out the new plant. I still with have the opportunity in time to go up in Salary.

Posted 15/02/08 04:05 AM Share Posted 15/02/08 04:05 AM Foulgoorlie is good fun for 4-5 years, but after that one starts looking for more in life,eg: a woman or social activites (that involve other than drinking at the feddie ect ect)However, this mining boom isn't going to last forever either...so make hay while the sun shines..your choice, lifestlye or money?Sold my place in Kal a few years ago, made $60,00 on it, but with house prices in Perth being what they are, get ready for a shock....
