Hey guys, I've got a BF dump and a spare 'modified' BA cat, that I want to attatch together.. What I want to know is, how they actually connect.

By looking at them I see that the dump has a flange and the pipe that comes off the cat also has a flangish bit. Flanges being flanges look as if they will just bolt together, is this all? No gaskets or anything?? Looks pretty straight foward, I thought that it would be more difficuilt..

Cheers Mike..

I'm not sure exactly what you are saying?

A BF cat is 3" in and out. A BA cat is 3" in and 2 x 2 1/4 out. That's not a straight forward swap. A BA cat/pipe section will bolt to the top of a BF dump towards the engine if that's what you mean? should be 2 bolts only.

Off the Dump there is a 3" pipe which is bolted to the Dump.. The cat is further along that 3"pipe and yes its welded on, if you looking to upgrade your cat you will have to cut it off and weld up the new one..

Correct me if im wrong...
