Lowering A Territory Turbo

AS per the title, has any gone through the motions of lowering a TT?

IF so, how did you go about it and what was the end result like?

Not to alarm you, but I had a customer who did it with 22's and one of his wheels fell off while driving!

I'd say this was due to poor workmanship, but big wheels and lower suspension has been known to send the DSC crazy

yeh, had a set of kings springs fitted on my TT and it dropped it 40mm. reckon they cant go any lower with awd but I have seen lower. sits nice now but the main gain was it now goes around corners like a half decent sports car now with minimal body roll and I reckon a more comfy ride. hope this helps . cheers.

We have fitted King springs to a customers TTG, these springs kept the ride height as per factory but took away alot of the rock'nroll that you get with standard springs. Unable to get a specific spring rate from the supplier, just the usual 25-30% increase in spring rate. Will measure the next set we do and check standard spring rate to directly compare apples with apples.

Scotty from the old RB days here... how are ya?

I've just picked up a TTG and put some 22" bling on it. Got it lowered on Wednesday using lovell springs (around 40-45mm) and the car had now developed a harmonic whine at a fraction above 80km/h.

Rims were rebalanced and best balanced 2 went on the front... drove it and the noise is still there.

Next step is to change the rear springs for a slightly stiffer version.

Sorry to jack the thread, but does anyone know what can be changed to fix this?

Did the vibration start after the rims where fitted, or the springs?

Has it been fixed yet?

Reason for asking, looking at lowering out TTG which is fitted with 20" bling.

Running a 22" rim wouldn't be the reason it fell off, I'd say they didnt tighten the nuts properly or stripped the thread by over tighening them.

Does any one happen to know if the Terri sway bars are the same as the falcon one's ?

THere's heaps of Terri's with big wheels running around, couldn't be to much of a problem. If it is then this may help,
