I kno from experience my T5 from the 6T absolutely shattered when I put power to it, and I went the T56 set up, which im lookin to do right now also ...just wanting to find the strengths and weakness's of the XR8 T5 ...any help would be appreciated,Thanks heaps,Mark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

XR06T Silver Donating Members 4,146 Member For: 19y 5m Gender: Male Posted 13/02/08 07:41 AM Share Posted 13/02/08 07:41 AM I'd be pretty surprised if someone has put an xr8 t5 into the turbo, it is not an easy job as the input shaft is different, and they arent any stronger. torque limit of the box is 490nm, which is what the ba xr6t puts out. im guessing that whoever told him that it has an xr8 box is mistaken.
