hey mate, I have a similar problem...im very keen to see if there are any fixes for this. I thought of heating it up and then trying to shape it, but it kinda seems overkill.

hey guys, yeah I had same problem. Short of silastic / hot glue, I couldnt get it to sit properly and ended up going a pole position auto gauge holder. sits a lot nicer.

I had the same problem when I bought one. Pm miss ally and she helped me out.

I ended up putting a small spacer at the back to lift it up and used double sided tape at the front cause the velcro pulled apart a little.

The tape holds it down nice a tight.

how did u make/wot did you use as the smaller spacer at the back? I shaved the 1 on it down a fair amount but still doesnt sit flat so I thought a smaller spacer would be the way to go but unsure wot to use

sorry mate I wrote my post wrong. I added a spacer to the already exsisting one at the back cause my problem was at the front. I lifted the back up a tad. Mine didn't sit flush with the dash at the front. the back on mine is fine

I got one and I had the same problem and I found that the guages (cobolt) dident fit flush. As for the fitment to the dash I just broke off all the tabs and plugs of the old panell and glued them in place so it locks in like the factory one. A day later my fpv ones turned up so now I use it.

We test fit the pods in our cars as well as another complete dash brought from ebay to make sure they fit.

We have found that the odd person has had problems with the fitting flush, which has been 1 of 2 things.

First: The velcro has been placed to close to the front edge on the taper, causing the pod to sit up

Second: Occasionally we have found that the left side of the cavity needs a little filed off as shown in the picture

I tried all that but got the best fit by glueing the old tabs on. Just for every one to know thases guys give great customer servise on there product. They called me a few times to sort out any problems and seemed concerned of any product fults or problems. The only reason I am not useing there pod is I realy wanted the fpv look (yes I have the wank start button) but there pods face the driver better than the factory ones. It is a good product just needs a little molding/help to fit great. Without feedback they cant fix or improve on the product.
