I took it in to Ford to get a 3000k check up and booked the car in for the 'spray man' to respray the rear sploiler after the scuff on the left corner was quite poorly disguised on delivery, and had a whinge about the slight brake squeal I'm getting from brand-freaking-new Brembos. He shook his shoulders and told me it wasn't anything unusual.

Does anyone else experience this or has anyone said the right thing and got it fixed? I hear they spray anti-squeal on the rotors.

GREAT fix Ford! :spoton:

Mine squeel like a bastard, so did the PBR performance ones I had on the T.

My Brambos will stop squeeling for a couple of days if I blast the calipers with water.

Get used to it, there is no fix and it is standard with big brakes. Ferrari, Porsche and AMG all do it.

Furry muff.

Guess I'll just have to change my attitude towards them...

Note to self: It's tuff to have brake squeal James. Tuff.... *cough*

If the squeeling gets too much for you, I am happy to do a straight swap for my stockos that dont squeel.

over the cars I have had, my brakes have never squealed - ever. I think it has something to do with the punishment they cop.

Alot of performance brakes squeal, that's life. Try braking later if its safe to do so, the soft discs and pads glaze easily, so don't give em a chance to!

I find tapping out squeals in time with whatever song is on MMM usually turns some heads at red lights in the morning. Quite fun actually.
