Where in the manual does it tell you how to disable the annoying whine that comes from the FU Series I Wife model.

In the beginning this was hardly noticeable, but as time goes by, man is it distracting! :nugget:

Any help on this (or other mods to the FU Series I Wife model) would be greatly appreciated.

 :D

:D Ken, I take it all back that is 1st class

I find " Those jeans look a little tight dear when you sit down" or " I think I might invite Mum and Dad over for a couple of weeks" puts them into a catatonic state for, 1 hr former, 3.5hrs latter, works every time :D

Or, buy them a little red sports car............blissful silence ASSURED!

And I thought I was alone, I have the FU II series Wife they altered the pitch but the whine is still there, try suggesting wiping toilet paper between the breas*s daily for enlargement, seems to work on their ass. Should enjoy extended silence after this.

Be careful with the fuel warning. I used to run mine down to 40km remaining quite regularly. Then after my 15,000 km service I ran out of fuel  (the first time in my life) with 38km remaining on the trip computer. Not sure if it’s just me but I seem to be getting better fuel economy after my last service.

Picked up the car yesterday - Ford service advised that they couldn't disable the warning light but I suspect they have adjusted something or flashed the ECU because I was only getting 410km out of a tank - immediately after service my DTE was 210km + 270km on the trip computer. Will take a few days to see if this is real and sustained.
