teeq is right. if they do work on it and it is not a warrantable item, they will most likely be charging you for their time(happened to me once). will admit once though, even though they decided not to cover something under warranty, I never got an invoice for the mornings work they did.

When I had my NA ford wouldn't cover my stuffed clutch under warranty. Just go see Mal Woods, never had a problem with the clutch after that.

Wow - a BA MKII with less than 30k - that's awesome! Mines got 70 and its newer than yours!

Did the clutch only slip that one time or is doing it all the time? If it only did it once I don't think there is much concern. If it does it all the time take it in before April.

Gees, I have an 05 BAmk2 6spd, only 22000kms, and have experienced slippage, but it had more to do with the way I was using the clutch than fault with the clutch itself.
