The guy who hosts that show is such a muppet. Typical American culture celebrating a michine that kills people more efficiently than the next.

No im not a greeny I do own guns and have a licence just don't see stuff like this to be essential in helping eliminate the worlds skyrocketing murder rate....

But as guns go that's is pretty cool.

It is a show about military weapons, and the guy is an Ex SEAL.

I do not mind the show, I watch each episode, and I do not own nor want firearms.

Its a great show and a big eye opener,

"this is the best that you - that the government, the *U.S. government* could come up with? I mean, you're NASA for crying out loud, you put a man on the moon, you're geniuses! You're the guys that're thinking sh*t up! I'm sure you got a team of men sitting around somewhere right now just thinking sh*t up and somebody backing them up!" - Harry Stamper

I am not pro gun, nor am I anti gun. I have a firearm license, just nowhere to store nor the money to buy a rifle.

That shotgun is insane; While it would be handy for the military (SEAL's, DELTA, SAS etc) to use it will end up on the black market making the world an even unsafer place.

Made an absolute mess of that plywood.

If anybody thinks its not a brilliant tool (in the right hands of course) I suggest you read a book called House to House by David Bellavia. The guys a ex US Army SSG and has been nominated for the Medal of Honour for actions in the sh*tfight that was Fallujia in 2004. People think that close combat is a thing of the past and modern warfare is all about pusing buttons. This bloke went into a house to rescue his section who were ambushed while clearing a building by insurgents that had barracaded themselves in the next room with concrete. His men got out, then he went back in, ended up being pinned down in the house alone by four insurgents who were high on PCP. He got drawn into such a close fight that by the end of it he had to ditch his M4 and beat one of the them to death with the kevlar plate out of the front of his body armour.

Now that's a situation when this thing would be a force multiplier.

I definatly recomend that book. Its an eye opener on events that are still happening today but have somehow become a short sentance on the 23rd page of the newspapers.

I suppose it does sound like that. But according to the writers it was very true. And I believe him.

People who get hit with 25mm HE from a Bradley and still fight medics while they are in two peices are definatly on something that isnt natural adenalin.

Fark me that is an awesome bit of kit and there are some pretty nifty rounds for it already. In a certain ministry, in a certain country that I had the pleasue to visit a year or so ago, you could go in bombed up to the eyeballs with armour and grenades, carry a shotgun and people moved out of your way.
