Whilst sitting in my Turbo with the ignition off I was listening to an AM radio station. After around 15 mins I heard something retract (like the sound when you switch vents from ‘fresh’ to ‘recirculate’), then the radio station went dead. I was able to listen to FM stations, and by turning the ignition on and off, was able to again listen to the AM band. At no time did the radio itself stop working. This is the second time it has happened. I have Premium sound and the ICC screen was turned off at the time.

Has it happened to anyone else before? What could be the cause? It is supposed to do this for some reason?

While you were sittin there jmoo2 you should have read the manual it's all in there.

It's an auto delay feature, the sound similiar to closing of the vents is just that. ;)

I don't think it's the timer as it's just the AM band that stop working, everything else is fine.

Anyway, thanks for your help, I'll see what the dealer says.
