Hey everyone,

I've seen these rims that I really wanna get for my BF XR6...

http://www.ford.com.au/servlet/ContentServ...e&c=DFYPage

Click on "Falcon XR6 Turbo"

And they are the rims...I've asked at a dealer and had a look on the net but I can't find anything...No one seems to know...

Anyone got any info about where I can get them, how much etc????

Cheers guys!!

Dan

correct me if I am wrong, I think these rims are the BF XR 18's but have the darker grey insert, they were released on some of the XR's with the silver inserts in the bumpers and side skirts not to long ago...

I've heard that ford have had a falling out with their mag wheel supplier so I'd say that these are the wheels to replace the old style that they cant get anymore.

they must be available from the dealers if there on the ford site but may take a while to filter through.

Mr Man is correct. Those are the rims available on the post-November XR's.

Surely the dealers would be aware of this, they are the ones selling these cars new! :)

These are the standard 18" BF/BF2 XR8 rims. I had them added as an option on my BF when I got it 18 months ago, cost NZ$2k to upgrade at the time.

Recently (a couple of months back) they added those darkened highlights to the wheels. I'm sure there will be plenty of these wheels floating around, and a wheel shop should be able to darken the inside curve of each "spoke" if you can only find the plain standard ones....

Yer, I saw these at my local Ford dealer the other week.

They look good. Thought exactly the same thing.

Given the brake dust issue, I wish they were out when I bought my T back in 2006!

Go to your local Ford dealer, but there are heaps of "Wheels" on ebay that are just mad.

Good luck.

Just to recap on what a few of the guys have noted here! Yes those 18" wheels with the grey inserts were designed for the november realesed upgrade BF MKII XR6's. I actually have a december build model and even though they look good I probably would have prefered the previous design "which is exactly the same style without the grey inserts" because they look bigger being in a alloy finish. Going by the price of the previous 18" rim that's listed on the ford website ford

they sell for $3400 and you'd assume that possibly the newer style would sell for more!

Im actually looking at selling or trading mine in for some 19 or 20" rims I haven't decided yet!

Wheel king in Moorabbin offered me $2000 trade in when I first bought the car!
