Could have found much better range of cars in my own opinion. I also agree that the driving abilities of those guys doesn't do cars justice.

The dawk with the Ferrari didn't even give it some stick in the dyno - whats the point of having a car if your not going to explore it's limits... If your afraid your going to blow the engine then buy something cheaper that you can afford to fix. I reakon the RX7 should have taken the title - love those twin turb rotors...

Seeing Jeremy in the Brock win was a complete dissapointment.

the ferrari was still running the stock clutch. its not easy or cheap modding the fully electronic clutch.

it was also running 3 psi making 260 or so rwhp.

as shown in the earlier eps the stock fezza clutch would not handle the power being made by adding twin turbos.

I agree the rotor was the outstanding performer in the series.

it will be interesting to see how it goes with this new 1000rwhp motor.

The RX had a single turbo on it. Most S6 owners dump the TT setup straight away!

Ol mate even said that if he blew the motor up in the ferrari then he would have to sell one of his houses to replace it.....

hey guys I think you will find he was running 5-7 psi as he had the bleed valve off the wastegates and so it was running minimum boost on those wastegates which would be between 5-7psi ...I think he was just saying it was on 3 psi .......come on why bother with 3 psi and it wasnt a new motor it was a new setup and pretty much the first time its been out they were not even sure if it was going to make the show as it wasnt quite ready

oh and mine is a series 8 lol hope you all enjoyed it

Whoops... Simple mistake Dom. Still a timeless shape though, considering it originally hit the market in 92! What year is yours? 2000?

Bad luck mate, but they had to have an aussie icon take the title I think mate.

thank you very much people I take it as a big honour when people say things like they dont usually like them but mine is different I think people get the point that I just wanted to build a tough car .....

as for the competition some cars came with drag slicks and front runners and drums of race fuel some of us just came with the one set of tyres and filled up at the servo...in the drag the xy wasnt the fastest the torrie was over the 1/4 mile and I was over the 1/2 mile anyway hope you all enjoyed the show and if you want I can post up my site links to the whole series
