How do they compare price wise??

from where iv checked the xr8 bonnet is a fair bit cheaper than the drift bonnet. I was thinking of buying an xr8 bonnet and having a vent cut into the bulge. something a little different

In one of the recent Performance Ford mags a guy had a XR8 bonnet with the sides of the bulge cut out and some mesh in there. It looked awesome.

I cant say I ever thought of doin the sides. very different. my thought was if u cut the front it will look unique but serve a purpose to the engine bay temp aslo

Hi All,

I guess the discussion was made for me……. I was offered a FREE!!! XR8 bonnet so I have taken it up.

But I would like to modify it as suggested above, I found a place that can do the bonnet cut out.

Here is what it looks like-

The good thing is I will still have the original if I want to go the stock look.

doolz, were did you get your bonnet? or did it already come with the car? iv been looking around sydney for a good deal on one.

it came with the car. its so good driving with the power bulge in front of you.

Basically an optional extra with the car.

would recommend to all.

go the xr8 bonnet and I have seen a xr8 bonnet with xb xc bonnet vents looked tough
