buster Member 7 Member For: 16y 11m 15d Posted 31/01/08 12:26 PM Share Posted 31/01/08 12:26 PM g'day I am the proud owner of el xr6 turbo heavily modified. It recently pulled 500rwhp on dyno. Now I am having a lot of traction problems in 1 2 3 gear/manual. I need some advice on what I can do to help this. What is a good quality tyre I could use I have 17 x 9 255 at back maybe for better traction.

A softer compound and wide tyres will help.2. Don't put your foot in so hard3. Load your "95" tune for everyday use

I'd imagine with the EF rear end you can fit wider than 275s on so id be looking at new rims/tyres.Pleny of cars on here with 500plus hp, some put up with the lack of traction, other seek out the best, widest tyre they can find/fit/afford... just dont get cheap tyres
