Spent $150 on new trim pieces, and you'd never pick it now except for the NSW POLICE sticker on the windscreen/door/boot...Drives extremely tight, even the dealer couldn't beleive it when I got it serviced. Sure everyone knocks them but im yet to hear any horror stories, but in saying that here they will come.I.B.

And I think I would agree with IB... While the expectation for it being driven harder the a pro in the cross on a good night, I would imagine that they are serviced on time, well maintained etc... so maybe not such a bad buy...and there is still warranty so you just need to make sure any and all little areas of concern need to be check and replaced by a dealer I guess... It included things like the bonnet being a different shade of red, the insert in the front bar was the wrong colour etc Edited 16/01/09 10:12 AM by henz

Broaders77 Member 73 Member For: 16y 5m 14d Posted 18/02/09 04:47 AM Share Posted 18/02/09 04:47 AM quick bump - the 11/05 chaser I bought last year is still going pretty well. So far Ford have completely replaced the front steering arms and one of the shocks under warranty and I've had the o2 sensor replaced out of warranty. Other than that no dramas at all.Who else has bought ex-chasers in the past couple of years? Good news or bad?

The circumstances of high k's or any damage im not familiar with but the price appears amazing.I.B.

You need to check/inspect the car throughly though. I had a ex-cop vn v8 multiple decades back. Found out later that some of it's suspention components were actually bent! But I got so cheap and within my budget!
