At the right price go for it. What is the right price though? You know it's been thrashed, interiors are usually crap or have holes everywhere, so add it all up to bring it up to scratch and you will soon realise unless you're paying a hell of alot less then it's probably not worth it. I would personaly just buy something abit older, or just wait abit until you find a good deal on the second hand market.I also doubt Ford would be voiding warranty on those cars, they stand to lose a hell of a lot of sales if they do. BEN189 Member 96 Member For: 20y 3m 24d Posted 01/02/08 02:12 AM Author Share Posted 01/02/08 02:12 AM I am only going off what I can find on carsales.com.au searching in NSW but the cheapest BF T's are white ex cop cars for around $28-30k. The "normal" BF T's are still well over $30k. $30k is my max. All I want to know if it would be worth getting a ex cop BF that is newer over a BA mk2. I thought it would be but now I dont know. I obviously just have to go and have a look at these cars myself...

They dont come up often, but are serviced regularly and generally treate reasonably well. Also, Telstra wont let you modify it from stock so you know ya gettin a true blue stocky Edited 02/02/08 07:30 AM by EvilDaifu

For 30K I couldnt justify purchasing an ex cop car, you just dont know whats happened to them, wheteher they've been trashed or not, and as he said, interiors are shocking, worn seats, holes and scratches in the dash, and so on. Take a look on carsales and carpoint, I was browsing the other day there was a nice acid rush T, 20 inch rims, lowered, engine bay detailed and sprayed acid rush and I think it had an edit for 22K. Take your time, and eventually something will come along..This car has been for sale since I have had mine so well before september 07....I wouldnt trust a cop car though , they are just a bit too rough on them in general

If you could save 10k and get a clean car who gives a sh*t if its got a few holes you cant even see!
