I'd be interested to see if all these problems are just caused by them not being assembled within the correct specs.I would say so. At one stage they promised that I would get one that was hand built to finer tolerances or some crap - which must be reserved for the vocal customers that have tantrums after being stuffed around so much. Think there was something on here about it as well.

Im sure any diff specialist could sort out the issues with the diffs by assembling them properly
DORKO Member 340 Member For: 17y 9m 1d Gender: Male Location: Perth Posted 30/01/08 12:12 PM Author Share Posted 30/01/08 12:12 PM Diff and Tran specialist had a look and said it would cost me $700 just to pull it apart, then depending on the damage up to $2000 for a re build. I was a little bit shocked, so I took it to ford and let them have the problem as it was still under warranty. But just curious, what does a diff cost?Dorko

The worst thing though, (Bit off topic) My ipod and Ipod cable got stole from my car when it was in with Ford. They rang me this morning, and said they will replace it, but still! Dodgy bastards! And they didnt wash my car, god that annoys me! Dorko
