Er no, KT. 3 inches it was NOT. Even with the fleeting glimpse.... this mother (oh gawd - there's the pregnancy issue cropping up again) was at least five-ish.

Still no sign of the sod of a thing. Mind you - it's had a couple of days of heat therapy now....

As for driving confidence ??? I have NEVER been more aware of EVERYTHING around me. Inspires excellent driving skill.

GODDAMM YOU JOHNNY!!!!!!

goddamm you for having this happen to you and making me laugh at you!!!!

KARMA IS A BITCH!!!!

just drop the g/f out for dinner, pulled into red rooster for dinner, as I was leaving, I felt a creepy crawley thing on my foot, IT WAS A f*ckING SPIDER!!!!! admittedly it wasn't a big'n, but it was about a 50c piece-ish, but it was enough to freak me out!!

pulled into the first carpark, jumped out, pulled the mat out, and the f*cker ran under the seat!

now, I dont get freaked out by crawley things (usually grab the camera out and take some pics) but it's the not knowing where it is that sh*ts me!! made it home without seeing or feeling it again, pulled the mat out again and sprayed under the seat with mortein.

*beep* of a thing!!

lol - I have a spider that lives in my passenger side mirror, he's a tuff bugger, lived through plenty of blasts with the gurney, I think I'll have to get the mortein out now, he's hitch-hiked for long enough!

Does anyone remember a thread from a bloke a few years ago who had an animal of some description stuck behind the air vents in his car and he couldn't remove it..

I can't recall the exact details but I think the car was a Volvo and it was a reptile of some kind, a lizard or iguana or something like that perhaps.. can anyone with a better memory then me find that forum and thread?

Hells bells, Dan> sorry about all this!

Hope you've had more luck than me killing the sod!

Heard today from my enomologist mate that a worker on Fraser was bitten by a big mother centipede last week at one of the touristy places. In bed. Apparently he woke up with enough noise to wake the entire camp. They evacuated him back to the mainland thinking it was a snake bite, but one of the park rangers, found the centipede under his pillow the nex morning.

Apparently as burrows flood from water, they seek higher ground. Be aware, Qlders! And it matters not where you are - they are way more common than we think, apparently. Certainly common in my dam car. Grrrrr.

:crybaby:

no sign of it yet, but there was another one (or possibly the same one...) hangin off the rear view mirror this morning!! boor bugger took the whole brunt of my frustration from the other guy!!

then again, I did spray enough mortein in there to choke a donkey!
