$890 is not a rippoff or unfair. It is a fair price for a propper tune

Dyno's, workshops, wages, businesses cost money.

They can charge whatever they like, if you do not like it, go and get a carpark tune.

Making BS claims about how we moderate and change posts WILL earn you a holiday.

never had a carpark tune and never will, the original poster asked if we thought that was dear and I gave my opinion and is asking how my post had ACCC implications making a BS statement about moderaters?

I would not pay more than 500 for a custom tune. no matter who the tuner thinks he is.

when you spend your hard earned at one shop and one shop only with the hardware and mechanical work that comes from a happy customer its worth much more than a few hundred dollars profit on a tune.

I went to KPM and paid exactly the same. I then had some problems a few months later..........KPM were awesome. The problem ended up being nothing to do with the edit but they spent 2 full days trying to find the problem at no charge.

I think your paying for their service more than anything. I would rather pay more and feel happy that any issues I can back to them without any hassles.

What mods are you running.......... IMO that if the mods are minimal the custom tune should be not that costly. As said before the tune is basically a cut and paste in this situation with a couple of pulls on the dyno to fine tune AFRs and Boost (Custom LOL).

However if the mods are many then the tuning process will be far more involved. Injector scalers / Actuator opening rates bla bla bla...

Just my 2c
