At the end of the day you sped and got caught. And as far as showing pictures to a Superintendent to get the police officer charged, I wouldn't waste my time or embarrass myself. My 2c.Well the TMU doesnt apply, his been done in NSW and he can bring whatever he ikes to court. Admissabilty vs inadmissabilty will be independently decided by some old cranky bloke behind a bench.I.B.

But by all means, try.TMU seeing as I'm from Vic, but whatever traffic unit callsign may apply to the relevant state or territory.

Elias Member 109 Member For: 17y 1m 19d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 29/01/08 11:34 PM Share Posted 29/01/08 11:34 PM I would contest it. If the user guide on this speed detector states not to use it on hills, then obviously it's not set up to give accurate reading in this situation. I know in Victoria it's not legal for them to set up shop at the bottom of a hill without proper authorisation from someone high up. Setting up bottom of a hill is nothing more than revenue raising as far as I'm concerned. Everyone builds up a few kays on the way down. The should be getting people in places where only idiots would speed.

Can't really call them "Dirty Sneaky Slimey Cops..." when you were the one breaking the law and they caught you doing so. There's no excuse for travelling 30% over the posted speed limit. What about trying to outrun the cops - that's a good reason...
