What the numbers dont tell is how much stronger the car feels throughout the rev range, the increase to the area under the power curve was massive. mercuryturbo Oh look.... a real car, with no hair dryer Donating Members 1,724 Member For: 18y 4m 6d Gender: Male Location: Fear and Loathing in Callala Bay Posted 28/01/08 05:03 AM Share Posted 28/01/08 05:03 AM I think it depends a lot on the car & the tuner.My 03 BA made 186rwkw stock then after a custom tune by my first tuner it made only 206rwkw.Naturally I was pretty disappointed especially when the guy said all BA's are different & that mine was one of the bad ones (valve springs).Anyway drove it around like that for around 6 months when the bug to mod it hit me again. So I brought a Monza cooler & took it to another tuner just to make sure it was all safe. Long story short I drove out of there with 263.5rwkw with safe afr's & no valve spring flutter.
