I have a nov 05 BF and have Typhoon internals. March 2005 the BFs got the phoon internals Rods and valve springs.Since then they have upgraded again I think in the MK II BFs

I have a March 2005 BA series 2. Is it possible that it has the same internals. Or was it only the Bf's of that month that got them????

Are you sure???

April 06 seems to be the general consensis for the Typhoon rods

No you don't. There was no upgrade for BF MkII either.

The date is April 06. You dont have the LPG rods unless they were fitted after the car was made.

I was told by FORD and other sources that the XR6 TURBO BFs were given the complete typhoon motors.For production and other reasons they started making only one motor for both.The tune & intercooler were the only different things between Xr6t &typhoon.

that's right they did give them the same engine - from April 06, BF started in October 05, then once they had used the alotted engines, they swapped over to the F6 motor.
