The screen can gain the wrong attention but I have the made sure it has the option to fold back, when folded back the screen is legal. so hopfuly I dont get caught with it up.

Maybe you could remove the tri peice at the top of the icc where the gauges go and fabricate a cradel for the screen. Probably have to do it out of fiberglass this will drop the screen down maybe an inch. also will look pritty cool. If you planned it well you could also make it removable so those steeling types can not get there hands on it.

Mmm..the screen ain't that big, it looks like an 8" - I played with the idea of removing the triangular bezel on the top where the clock/gauge-pod usually sits, and it is a good idea to drop it by 1 - 1 1/2"

Looking good so far, let us know how it performs ....

the project is complete. sounds awesome.

took it for a test drive today to fix any bugs in the system. The first bug I found was the amp was overheating. my last option is to move the amp out of the enclosure to the open boot space. does anyone know any other ways to stop overheating. I am thinking of striping the amp out of its case, the response amp is enclosed in a metal case which easily heat up.

Keep the amp in the case, the aluminium acts as a giant heatsink to the power-transistors.

Rather add a 120mm computer fan to provide airflow over the amp, it will work great.

Looking good though!
