Never heard about the renault driver, will send a bloke I know who is in the insurance industry a message. He was at the hill climb so might know what happened.

Love the 124,

I nearly bought one in my youth, but got an XB instead...

Had a mate who rebuilt a 850 sport..Now that was a car that could corner,

but when it lets go, it let go a doozy with that engine in the back and all.

still like the fiats, Arbath 124 mmmm.

nah, forget the 124 abarth, the 131 abarth is/was/always will be king in my books!

BTW, the car in the vid is a genuine abarth that is still in the country.

I am off to Wakefield Park in the morning, having a little play tomorrow (he, today, Friday!) then having a supersprint on sunday.

If anyone is in the area feel free to come out and have a look and say g'day, not that many will be interested as it is basically a full field of Fiats with 1 or 2 lancia's, Alfa's and Ferrari's thrown into the mix.

Bathurst is a magical bit of road. Think we might do a bathurst cruise soon

Why not. We've done it every other year.

We had a very succesful supersprint on sunday.

Ran the car aon friday, luckily as the starter decided to sh!t itself. got that changed and all was good.

Sunday started with our lap times about 1:10 for the first 2 sessions, after which we changed from the old sloicks onto the new slicks and immediately dropped into the low 1:07's.

Also very succesful for my family in general, my cousin Nick took first in "class SR5" and first outright in his 2 litre turbo, 16V open sports sedan with a lap of 1:05.9, Myself and my father took first & second respectively in "class SR4" and second and third outright with lap times of 1:06.5 and 1:06.9 in our under 2 litre sports sedan

My brother also ran his XR6T (which wasn't eligble for any awards) and was VERY happy with his 1:20 considering it was his first time at Wakefield EVER and also his car was completely bog stock and with cheap road tyres.

My cousin Nick in his sports sedan (Cheeky bastard beat me on the last lap of his last run!!!!)
