The 6 speed manual is stronger and more reliable than all the other variants.

I guess it comes down to what type of trans you'd rather drive.

Thanks for your reply guys!

Ultimately, I'd drive the 6spd manual (my current car is also a 6spd manual) - however, it is rare to find a BA MKII with low km and an interior other than those lightning/leafy decals on the seats and the door trims etc etc etc... in Victoria.

I'm also in the market for a XR6T ute (6spd), they are damned hard to find one with specs I want, if anyone see's any that come up .... silver/blue, ICC, 6spd, hard cover. let me know

Is there a list somewhere that outlines the difference from Ba->Bamk2->Bf->Bfmk2 ?

From my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong). BA comes in 5 speed manual and 4 speed auto. BA MKII comes in 6 speed manual and 4 speed auto. BF I'm not too sure about, BF MKII comes in 6 speed manual and 6 speed auto.

I've been hunting long and hard dude - so far it's still a yellow one that's extremely overpriced!

goodluck for that price... the 5 speed utes barely touch that price let alone the mk2 6 speeds.

You sure about that? There's a few 5 speeds on here listed in the low 20s ONO. But like I said, it depends on condition and KM etc.. obviously I'm not gonna expect a MKII that has done 20,000km and has every option under the sun in it for 25k.
