My XR6T Sedan goes in for its 3,0000 Km complimentary check next week.

Here's the list of items I've sent to the dealer. Mostly little things but just for everyone's reference anyway. It's the rattle that's killing me.

Service:

Oil and oil filter change

Items purchased yet to be fitted:

Paint and fit Genuine Ford Bosch 4-head reverse system (not Sentry).

Warranty work:

Find and fix rattle around point where A-column and chassis meet or somewhere inside the front quarter panel.

Replace dust guard inside front lower nose of car (broken before delivery).

Replace black strips at B-column on outside of both doors on left side of car.

Replace horizontal rubber on bottom of exterior door glass.

Fix rear left door – not closing unless it is slammed.

Re-spray front left quarter panel and front left bar due to paint / top coat fault.

Fix or replace fuse cover in driver’s footwell to stop it falling out.

Replace both headlamp assys – stress fractures in acrylic evident at top when viewed with bonnet open.

Windscreen washer intermittently not working.

Replace trim around fuel/boot buttons – has manuf defect – looks like pinhole.

Are you really serious about the trim piece with a PIN HOLE in it?

You do know that you didn't buy a McLaren don't you?

Andrew

No it's not a Mclaren but it's still a very signifigant purchase.

No matter what price you've paid for a new car it still should be in perfect condition when you buy it.

I had Ford replace the leather steering wheel on my AUII XR6 because it had a stratch on it. You buy something new, you expect it to be new.

Sounds like nothing is wrong with it then...

Just find a deserted road and plant the right foot.

Complaints - none come to mind.

Yep, agree with moffat here.
