I've noticed that I have a knock which occurs when going from full lock back into centre and also that my driver side window seem to push out the moulding when I put it up - again creating a small popping noise. No mechanical problems for me though.

Guest anthoc Guests Posted 22/12/02 11:47 PM Share Posted 22/12/02 11:47 PM You can turn off the belt minder. Check out the manual - it's like a micro$mut process. Using your left hand, stick you right toe out the front passenger window and operate the horn with you nose. Don't know about the door chimes. If you read the summary of audible warnings in the manual, it's ridiculous. Threee beeps, five sets of five beeps, long beeps, short beeps. There should be a voice warning system that you can turn on or off with a menu list like the Holden. That's one thing they do very well. Otherwise the Commode doesn't stack up all that well against the XR6T.

Haha i have to admit i hate the beeping too... its just common sense to put your seat belt on.. the light would be better.. How often does it beep? every 15 seconds.. damn its annoying

Will also get them to look into the driveline shudder, l am hoping there is something out of spec that is leading to what feels like excessive slack in the driveline. Its the one downer on our car and as no one else has noticed it makes me think there is something up with ours.Probably get an oil and filter change also, cant bear the thought of leaving the oil in a new engine in for 15000km. Robbo Member 249 Member For: 22y 28d Location: Sydney Posted 29/12/02 10:56 AM Share Posted 29/12/02 10:56 AM I asked my Salesman, after he showed me the service centre, "Do I bring it in at 1500kms ?". He said it was 15,000kms. That can't be right. When is the first scheduled service for the XR6T ?
