As the title suggests, my car has been booked in for Friday to get Custom Tune done. I have searched the forums for information on Injectors and Custom Tunes but have came up with info other than required.

I want to know if it is advisable to get the injectors changed whilst the car is there being tuned or leave the factory bosch ones in? :msm:

What injectors should I get if needed, Bosch or Siemens and how much are they?

Will this gain extra Kw's or should I do this change after IC, CAI, Exhaust is done?

Car is completely standard with no modifications - as yet!

Thanks

Dean

Definatly get the injectors.. Which ones? I reckon go the siemans, they are good for 250rwkw up to 400+rwkw.. Heaps of people are using them with great results.. Also a 2nd CAI is one of the first mods people do to the T, so I'd do that aswell before the tune..

Good luck for friday, dont forget to post up a dyno sheet..

my only suggestion is get as much done as you can afford brfore the tune to save money on re-tunning down the track when you add more mods.

If you havnt allready get paul to take you for a run in his T its out of controll he just needs to learn how to drive

btw see your car a fair bit at ballina central nice looking bit of gear.

What percentage gains (Iknow its hard to estimate) should I get after fitting CAI and Injectors compared to just a standard custom tune with no other modifications.

It seems wise to have everything modified just before the custom tune is loaded but realistically, what mods would be best suited to a standard T before custom tuning?

Yeah gets alot of attention, for the wrong reasons sometimes. Had the car parked at work and some aSShoLe keyed the whole drivers side down to bare metal :stupid:

Mate speak to Paul, have a good chat with him and let him know what you want and what you want to spend, he will let you know where you stand and you can make an informed decision. Oh yeah make sure he makes you a coffee and takes you for a spin in his ute or T or even typhoon.

Best of luck mate.
