There's just not enough boost at that RPM.If you want to launch it harder you'll have to get a bigger converter.when I went to calder, I managed to get it to 2500rpm....on a stock stall(foot hard on brake, handbrake on)Of course, as soon as I let the brakes go, it just smoked more than a ham curing plant...I got my best result stalling to 2200rpm, foot & handbrake....but I did mash the throttle as soon as I got off the brakes, which I have now been told it is best to give 1/2-3/4 throttle till about 3000rpm then floor it, get around the torque tags....my 60ft was 2.2, et was 13.9 @ 100mph...from 226rwkw...
