Cheers for the reply mike,

the wheels wont spin if I stall to 1800-2200RPM but ive got maxxis tyres on the rear and they are hell grippy so I can barely struggle to get a lil skid when when tyres are cold.

adam could be right it possible the tune as I just fitted injectors not long ago and the map not probably finshed becuase of my cv problem I have at the moment.

but it making some what between 280-295rwkw atm.

like I said nick even put 20PSI down low and the car still wouldnt even reach 10PSI.

I dunno see what nick will say.

Rob

Hey Rob... Do your wheels spin anywhere between 1800-2200 rpm?? Mine starts to spin anywhere above 2000 rpm...

Stand on the brake with your left foot very very hard, push it through the firewall

Use your handbrake aswell, this will eliminate wheel spin

Why people accept to drive around on anything other than a fully finished tune is beyond me.

actuator might not be closed properly you should be starting to boost and spin the wheels by the time you hit 2200

yea that's one thing nick mention to me which is possabilty for why its not boosting down low.

will fit a new actuator if the case.

nick assured me that the car was safe to drive the way it is now.

as there only a few more tweaks that need to be done after I had fixed my cv/diff problem first as we didnt want to push the car even harder in case of my cv/diff problem got more worse.

That's the limit on a stock converter. There's just not enough boost at that RPM.

If you want to launch it harder you'll have to get a bigger converter.

when I went to calder, I managed to get it to 2500rpm....on a stock stall(foot hard on brake, handbrake on)

Of course, as soon as I let the brakes go, it just smoked more than a ham curing plant...

I got my best result stalling to 2200rpm, foot & handbrake....but I did mash the throttle as soon as I got off the brakes, which I have now been told it is best to give 1/2-3/4 throttle till about 3000rpm then floor it, get around the torque tags....

my 60ft was 2.2, et was 13.9 @ 100mph...from 226rwkw...

Definately the best way to get on boost off the line in a stock 4 speed is to use foot brake and handbrake.I managed to leave the line with around 8psi and did a 1.72 60footer..
