Unfortunely lots of people usually make the job slower not faster. It will be a big day of testing if we are going to test 3 or more cooler plus a base cooler test.

We still need a test vehicle and after looking at the fitting of the Rapid cooler on a couple of cars the other day we will need someone who doesn’t mind having some of the front bar reinforcement cut away as well as some material removed from under the battery tray. I don’t believe this needs to be done on the Process West cooler kits and it certainly doesn’t need to be on ours.

We will have our 1300nizpro car running within the next 8 weeks and it may prove a good test car as the cooler could be fitted to it more easily.

I fitted a rapid cooler kit recently and the amount of metal required to be removed is negligable. Yes its more work, as is bending the aircon pipe down, but seriously it doesn't take very long. The UB CAI is fiddly, but again if you have fitted one before this won't take long.

With the cooler you can see where I started cutting but realised I don't need to remove much. Don't let the cutting put you off this cooler.

Brendan you should radius the LHS of the notch back and blend it back it on the seam on the collision bar. Less chance of it cracking especially if you need you collsion bar!

Edit: Lhs as the photo is taken, RHS of the car... :buttrock:

How did I manage to lose my spot?

My car is due in March so I see no reason why I can't make it.

If you've already given my spot to someone else then you'll just have to add another person. I'll be showing up anyway. :buttrock:

Straughsberry, matye sorry for the confusion, what back when Tab was a slim lad this threrad was started and there were going to be donations to cover costs at an independant dyno facilty. Nizpro are willing to donate time and effort and facilities to make this a reality and kudos to them. I would love to be there but I am based in Brisbane. Chers for all that are making this a reality hope it goes well and gives us consiumres some good solid data.
