Damn. You've got me drooling now and even more so after seeing the video on how they're made.

Can't believe they're not down here in Mexico - hopefully a small oversight :)

Video?

No major concern mate, type 2, diagnosed about 3 months ago.

Actually was a good wake-up-call, no more pizzas, salami. cheese, hamburgers, fish and chips, fatty mixed grills at the pub with full strength beer, cheese cake, DONUTS, KFC, party nibbles, gotta stop, starting to get depressed

No really, it's in check with diet control and the good news is I've lost 6kg's, can jump in and out of me 'Bird' like a 25 yr old, and generally feeling better.

The fool quack said, get this.......NO BEER, Al's reply......"cops Ar$e!!!!!", I mean a man's gotta live,......alright Carlton Mid-strength is getting drunk more instead of Hanh Premium or other full strengths, and the odd Feral Chook is good for morale too :innocent:

The really cool thing is they give you this little machine with a spring loaded pen that stabs you in the finger, big toe, earlobe, left testi...... nah we won't go there, what is done in the privacy of ones own bedroom is private.

All jokes aside, any of you guys/girls out there who have a family history of type 2 (or type 1), are a bit over weight (like I was), do yourselves a favour and have a glucose tollerance test done, the earlier you catch it the easier it is to control.

I was fortunate my Mum got diagnosed in her early 50's, so I started having the tollerance tests in my early 40's and the last test showed I was 'In the Club'. Don't ignore the signs.

What a depressing twist to this thread....I'm still gonna try one when they come to WA though :D

Thanks for your concern Ken. :innocent:

Thanks for your concern Ken.

Don't worry you will go on to the needle eventually! I did and jab myself 4 times a day with the old insulin. And I love sweets, still do but is like loving your best mates missus, you don't.
