Was after peoples experinces on what magazines/web sites they have found were the most effective when selling their car.

l am thinking carpoint.com.au and The trading Post (Melbourne). Has anyone had success in the weekly Auto Car magazine and Unique Cars?

Would appreciate any feedback and other peoples experiences as its time to start advertising the T. :)

Hell Mondie you could slap an ad in the Performance Expensive Daewoo mag and sell a 'T' no probs :D

Personally can't help ypu with your question, but considering the wait time on a new 'T' you should'nt have any worries in selling it. :ermm:

Kill two birds with one stone Mondie:

Trading Post :ermm:

Autosupermarkets not bad for selling but it's getting a bit pricey, there's a new one out but I cant remember the name of it (same layout as Auto Supermarket) that has free advertising, dont know what the returns are like but.

Yeah l reckon the Trading Post would be worthwhile, its always worked well in the past especially with a photo.

That and carsales might be the best place to start.

Thanks guys!

The trading post is a great way of selling. With the huge demand for xr6t's you'll sell it in no time, unless the series 2 comes out then the difficulty starts! But I know you'll get a good price for it in no time! Good Luck on the GT! :idunno:

I recommend Carpoint with a digital photo and Auto Trader with a photo.

Auto Trader is national and is linked to Trading Post therefore your ad appears in both.

Carpoint is probably the biggest and a lot of dealers look at it.

Of course you will get the best price for your car privately however the Ford dealer that you buy your GT from may be able to offer you a really good changeover. After all it is a competitive market and if you buy in Sydney most of the dealers are part of the RJV (Retail Joint Venture) and have a common owner. My local Ford dealer principal is a very close friend and his son is my best friend and they have a very tasty Blood Orange GT in the lot at the moment. Mmmmm GT
