sounds good mate! how much did all that set you back roughly? what exactly did you do to the exhaust? I wouldn't mind getting a little more poke out of the fairmont!

The tune and the flash box RDP offered to me for $1395 + plus a k&n filter

The exhaust is a 2.5" mandrel bent XForce system, standard cat, and 4490 Paccies

20% Under drive will see close to 190 rwkw, is it an auto?

that's very good power for 4490 headers, one day try the 4495s much more top end but you give up down low grunt.

Thanks NOS atm I like the low down torque due to I mainly drive around town but in the future I might though when the track beckons me lol

how much was the exhaust, if you don't mind me asking mate??

what's the exhaust note sound like?? is it overly loud? does it sound anything like an XR6T with centre muffler removed?

I ended up paying $1000 neat for the exhaust and extractors, I really like the sound, its got a quiet rumble when idling that you can hear if you are around the back of the ute, but when you give it some its a smooth textured sound and loud enough for people on the street but not enough for the boys in blue. It doesn't drone on the highway but you can hear it if you stick your boot in it....all in all its the perfect sound for me.

I will see if I can get a sound clip and put it on you tube.

NOS, I couldn't get a hold of a lower intake before I made the trip, mainly due to work and other things. but RDP cut a hole in the front bottom half of the airbox and assured me that it was just as affective, This added an even greater note to the exhaust!! I love it

no worries is yours a BA or BF? I couldn't change my cat because of mine being a BF. if I did and made changes in the ecu to allow it warranty would be gone for sure. if you could pick up a second hand one it would work out cheaper.

I've got a BA MKII. Still got the old XR6T cat laying around in the shed.. I wonder if that'll help it at all. Probably best off paying a few hundred for a good hi flow anyways.
