Posted 14/01/08 11:29 AM Share Posted 14/01/08 11:29 AM yeah sorry for the idiocy of my post, now I noit was due to the license, stupid Victoria just got a new set of rules banning turbo cars, which is really a shame, ill just stick to an n/a like almost all of you pointed out hahathanks for the help anyways, ill just wait the 4 years until I can drive one legally oh yeh and I lose demerit points and I think they can confiscate the car off me, not to mention the fines of it only 3 years if u get your p's before July 1st this year bro..how old are u?as stated above, stick with the n/a for a while.. my mate just got his p's and he drives a VX Acclaim with 17's, he got a punctured tire and had the spare on one side. The next day he got pulled over twice for the "burnout wheel" Things are getting pretty crazy in Melb not worth the risk.

Did the breath test, no probs. He said stay in the car, as he walked around the car twice trying to pick something to defect. He came to my window again an looked at the back wheels and said "You haven't been doing burnouts have you son????". I paused and almost could not contain my laughter before stating "no sorry Officer, and this is a front wheel drive car...." He let me off....Ozzie Edited 14/01/08 11:49 AM by SHOWDOWN

OK SEEMS THIS HAPPENS IN THE US of A, JUST TODAY I WAS WATCHING YANK TV SHOW RIDES (SEASON 4 DISK 5, SECOND EPISODE) WELL THEY WHERE "CUSTOMIZING" A NEW HHR CHEV SUV THING... (IM GETTING TO THE POINT) AND 1 OF THE TEAMS FOUND THAT THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH ROOM IN THE ENGINE BAY TO FIT A TURBO.... SO THEY CUT THE REAR MUFFLER AND DID EXACTLY WHATS IN THE PICS..... FROM PAGE 1 OF THE POSTS.... 2 OF THE OTHER TEAMS PUT LS6 V8'S IN THEM BUT HAY..... SO THERE YOU GO. Edited 15/01/08 07:33 AM by Jmpin

Induction piping is lengthy though. Also you will always have an intercooler on display so keep this in mind.
