Take the rear muffler off and put the whole system near the rear axle. The only extra thing you need is an oil pump for the turbo oil return. No muffler and sounds great.

Like we did on this Porsche.

There's an old Fairlane in Blacktown with a TO4 mounted in the boot and regular 351 up the front... apparently it drives well and lag isnt much of an issue... much

this really aint so crazy.

it does loose the heat energy from the engine but the underbonnet temps are greatly reduced by having a remote mount turbo. :spoton:

Great idea till the first puddle.........

yeah sorry for the idiocy of my post, now I no

it was due to the license, stupid Victoria just got a new set of rules banning turbo cars, which is really a shame, ill just stick to an n/a like almost all of you pointed out haha

thanks for the help anyways, ill just wait the 4 years until I can drive one legally :spoton:

oh yeh and I lose demerit points and I think they can confiscate the car off me, not to mention the fines of it :hammerhead:

Nah Mate it can't hurt to ask. If it was me again I'd just take the badges off. They won't look under the bonnet unless you give them a reason.

I think this would have worked in the good old days, but I am sure a highway patrol that knows his stuff will be able to pick the intercooler.

you could get one of those electronic turbos and you could hide that in glovebox as it only needs two wires to work but if I was you I would get a turbo badge on my non turbo car so when the cops pull you over you can tell em you hid the turbo and they will spend ages looking for it so they can fine you for it
