senna_T Forged Member Lifetime Members 15,818 Member For: 17y 10m 20d Gender: Male Location: SW Sydney Posted 09/01/08 07:34 AM Share Posted 09/01/08 07:34 AM Hey guys!Well here I am sitting in the "Media Cafe" on Doutonbori St in Osaka!This is the first time I have had a chance to get online, I brought a laptop but our Ryokan (Japanese Inn) wireless internet won`t let me connect for some reason Anyway, we have been to signal auto, unfortunately the workshop was closed, I think because Tokyo Autosalon is so close, but we still saw the place which was cool and took some photos throught the glass!We have found some awesome drinks namely Aquarius, "Real Gold", and Royal Milk Tea - which comes hot out of the vending machine - great idea and good for cold Osaka weather!Looked at Osaka Castle today, and got shown around by a Japanese bloke who was probably 65 and had no interest in charging us for the guided tour and history lesson in broken english, my mate and I are completely in awe of the japanese peoples respect for others and are always very courteous, especially when you do the same We also checked out a place called Den-Den town, which is basically 2km of electronics and the such, a favourite store was "Super Kids Land" a HobbyCo like store with everything from remote control drift cars through to air soft guns and Anime dolls (some were partially naked!). I think I will come home with at least oneremote drift car... I think it works out around 230 or so kph - that's including two stopsok, I`m off now, thanks for the quote, I`m pretty good at finding toilets though! another good one to know is "iikura des(u) ka?"will keep up to date, this ryokan has free internet!
