hey guys, the cd player has finally bit the dust in my ute (6 stacker in dash)

im gonna replace it with one of those pioneer bluetooth head units, a 4 channel amp and some fancy speakers.

I dont wanna sacrifice any room for a sub so im willing to spend a little extra on speakers.

what should I get for the rears? are they 5 x 7 inch? and what front splits should I get? what size are they and will aftermarket tweeters fit in the factory tweeter locations?

also what is the best din/tray thingy to get for the dash to fill in the hole?

thanks, mark.

I would be interested to find out a bit more about the sereo in the ba xr6t ute. The other day I swopped out the factory 5x7s in the back, with a new set of focal 5x7s. the sound has improved alot. The set of speakers cost me $250, the audio place told me that they are one of the best on the market at the moment. they reckon 60wms, wich is decent I guess. I have an amp and sub sitting in my house from my last car and havent decided what to do yet.

I also havent had the front door trims off, and am unsure of the size of the speakers there, I was told that they are the same as the back, just set up as splits ...

Is there much known about the outputs of the stereo, or for amps do people just run the high input?

thankyou,

Bayly.
