Hi NOS XR,

I have to be honest with you mate, if I was going to spend that much on modding a N/A I would sell it and buy a T.

$1100 on zorst

$400 P&L on Underdrives

$1000 P&L on stallie

$1000 on diff upgrade

$700 - 800 P&L for Cam...

for 200rwkws... doesn't make sence.

What I am after is cheap mods that are effective. After a certain point your better off selling your N/A and buying a modded T already on 300+rwkws.

$1100 for zorst, get a XR6T exhaust 2nd hand for $50 and fit a new cat to it.

around $400 for an under drive fitted is not much when its $1200 for a Edit with a custom tune to get you 14 rwkw in an N/A.

$1200 for a custom tune on a stock turbo XR6 will get you about 30 to 35 rwkw, do the math mate, if the under drive cost $1200 it would get you 27 rwkw not the same but close. Under drives around $350 fitted (if you pay more than that your getting taken for a ride, or you didn't get them from me) Fitting should cost no more than $100.

The 4495 headers are a must the factory ones are crap, go with the ones that do the job.

So exhaust $50 maybe $150 fitted, $450 to $500 for headers fitted, Tunes Ive seen some good deals around this forum, keep your ear to the ground.

As for the other toys,

The stallie is not a must but its a big help in an auto and with one you'll smash stock turbo XR6's all day. Diff upgrades are in much the same boat.

To get some fun out of your N/A falcon go the headers exhaust under drives and tune. You'll see 180rwkw with much lower fuel cost than a stock Turbo XR6.

With the Exhaust Under drives and tune set up its still no XR6T but its a lot of fun and not behind by much.

Leave the rest for when the bug bites again, as it always does.
