RAP1D Member Donating Members 3,739 Member For: 18y 10m 28d Gender: Male Location: Sydney NSW Posted 06/01/08 01:32 AM Share Posted 06/01/08 01:32 AM Yesterday we saw a nice Blue T with ( from what I could see ) a Niz cooler,plenum, upsized turbo, exhaust manifold, external gate, ect... all the gear to go over the 400 mark with ease.So later on in the dyno hall we see it come onto the rollers, and pull off a couple of sub 300HP runs...Not sure about what was going on as it didnt pull anything like, even a stocker... maybe he accidently flashed it to stock??The old boys on the mic were saying there you go, that's an XR6 turbo, not a bad effort, the owner is happy with that result, blah blah blah... seemed alittle odd Anyone else see this effort? or know what the story is?Oh and they ran out of cars to dyno mid show... there was some heckling and general un happy campers with nothing to see except for two empty dyno cells... Guy on supraforums got done but they did the test at 5100rpm when it should of been done a fair bit lower. senna_T Forged Member Lifetime Members 15,818 Member For: 18y 2m 9d Gender: Male Location: SW Sydney Posted 06/01/08 02:59 AM Share Posted 06/01/08 02:59 AM I remember my GF's dad told me about a mate of his who went down with a big block cortina on a trailer, it had a full interior, but no rego as it sucked NOS and ran mini tubs and front runnersThe cops pulled him over and made him get the car off the trailer, they then proceeded to give him a huge defect list for the cortina, he took them to court about it and the case was dismissed in his favour, but the fact that they basically baited him into putting the car on the road, just so they could fine him is ridiculous!
