I took a mate out for his first drive in a xr6t yesterday, he owns a modded wrx (which I ate consistantly), and his words were "it just crab walks all the time, I should have got one of these" as we fishtailed at 90k/h. I took the T for a spin and as soon as that turbo spooled up I was sold. straight back to the dealership to sign the papers

I remember dropping the accelerator in. Dam my heart paused and then I was sold! You get use to the power, then you get a taste of a custom tune, and the smile cames back everytime! But I will get a tune and other parts to get my wheel spin back!!

I found much the same with the auto's, they are that smooth that the box soaks some of the seat of the pants feeling.

The only manual I could find was the T so I took it for a drive, BIG mistake, SOLD on the spot but the car I drove was too much so had to do some driving around to find one I wanted and could afford. As has been said feel slow until you look at the speedo. My father in law took it for a drive and said it ain't that quick at which I replied to look at the speedo. He nearly sh!t himself!
