I meet this guy a couple of months ago cruising on the Semaphore esplanade. We got talking & he popped his bonnet & showed me his supercharge setup. Just curious to know if anyone out there knows if many N/A owners are going down this path?

hmm I would have gone for the sleeper look.

no stripes, no front GT bumper no chrome rims.

would be nice.

how much power would one of these make?

Why not I say, for 5k you get yourself a 300+kw car, that's pretty impressive, especially when you can pick up a BA XT for a third of the price of a decent XR6t. Supercharger means instant torque and instant throttle response... Our turbos spool pretty bloody quick, but I would put my money on a supercharged XR6 tromping an XR6t with similar power (to the speed limit)

One word, Why?
also... as has been said.. why?!?!?!

Why not, if you had a N/A why wouldnt you charge it if you put a turbo on it every one would call you an XR6T tranny.

He took me for a quick spin & it was ordinary as. He said it makes about 240-250kw at the wheels. I reckon the trans was slipping heaps though or maybe I'm just used to a manual.
