Heres another blue set on a BF with shiney decals! (Yeah I got rice hahaha)

Gotta say the 8 buck ebay decals look really nice and blingy.......

Just need to go back and clean up some overspray on the pads now after my shoddy late night masking job.

If ya want a better finish I reccomend removing the brakes for a good clean and then paint the brackets black for a bit of contrast. Doesn't make em work any better!post-14713-1240532176_thumb.jpg

I did mine Gold in a heat proof brush on that when initially gets hot it all toughens up , smooths out and any brush marks disapear . I have gone back to paint supplier and it is no longer available - got some nasty sh*t in it apparently .

So putting blue stripes on a white car isn't trying to copy a Cobra, it just simply looks better :flick_flex: .

so when ford puts blue stripes on white fiesta XR4s theyr trying to copy a cobra? dont think so. Everyone has their own opinion, I sprayed my calipers red, is it because I want them to look like brembos? no, its because my car is red and I think they look good on it. I've also got an XR8 bonnet, does that mean I wish I had a Boss V8 under the hood? no, that would be going backwards  its just personal taste.

My ute is conquor (dark blue) and I chose red for my brake calipers as I rekon it looks sh*t hot, too hard to try and paint match blue etc ALSO as my turbo badges are red and I have them on the front just behind the front wheels and stuff. Each to their own, I like to be induvidual and try to keep suttle differences between my ute and some other random XR6 T on the street!

Did mine too, bought DBA slotted street series rotors on the front, left the stock rotors on the back, bendix ultimates all around, and some decals off ebay. Didn't come up half bad

After upgrading the fronts to DBA I left the backs stock for a while and they were terrible. When the fronts were biting and doing all the work the backs may as well not have been there.
