What are phoon owners paying for your 15k, 30k and 45k ford dealer services.

My 15k km service is near and the quote I was given was around 75% more than for my XR6T 15k service from the same place, which was a few years ago now but I was given all sorts of crap about the F6 being a different engine etc, etc

Load of crap - there shouldn't be anything requiring more attention on the phoon. Engine is now identical to the T's mechanically as far as I know.

The only reason it would be more is if they need to replace your discs and pads, that all I can think of anyway, try another dealer

I am being quoted between $365 and $390 from a couple of dealers for the first 15k km service. Can any F6 auto owners confirm that this is the right sort of price (one of the differences is the tyre off rim rotation) - thanks

Certainly OTT

My last BFII XR6T was $175 at 7 and 15k's incl oil flush and $231 at 20,000kms with wheel alignment and balance+full 10L Oil flush. Then 30,000k was $245 inc oil flush.

Both that dealer and my current dealer (both NSW) said my new F6R Phoon would cost the same at each interval.

Call Ford CCA and check with them - there are standard labour times and RRP on rates that should apply, and materials/parts should be RRP.

Sounds rich.

Cheers

Paul
